Destinations - Botswana - persons with disabilities travel, disabled safaris, mature, services, Okavango Delta

Botswana, situated in the centre of Southern Africa is roughly the size of France. It is a landlocked country surrounded by Namibia on the north and west, Zambia and Zimbabwe to the northeast, with the Republic of South Africa on the southeast and south. The Kalahari Desert covers most parts of Botswana.

The principal river in Botswana is the Okavango River which drains into the world famous Okavango Delta where it forms a vast inland delta. It is one of the largest inland deltas in the world and provides habitat for a variety of wildlife. Botswana has designated 18.5% of its land as parks and reserves, giving it the highest percentage of protected land in any African country.

Warm winters (April - October) and hot summers (November - March) characterise this semi-arid, sub-tropical land. Rainfall season is during summer. Endeavour Safaris offers a unique opportunity to for the disabled to travel to Africa for a fantastic adventure safari. We have the fascilities to make persons with disabilities travel easy.
