12-DAY KRUGER & SUN CITY COMBINATION

During this all-South African tour you will experience the thrill of South Africa’s Sun City Complex, which comprises a large collection of restaurants, waterpark activities, shopping & entertainment venues, as well as a multitude of leisure and adventure activities on offer – from hot-air ballooning to elephant-back riding.. After enjoying some ‘fun in the sun’ at this, South Africa’s premier entertainment complex you will visit the South Africa’s most renowned game reserve – namely, the Kruger National Park – well known for its diversity of habitat and wildlife. On the way to the Kruger Park, we will have time for some spectacular sight-seeing along the Blyde River Canyon, one of Africa’s natural wonders.

Day 01: JOHANNESBURG

Upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, you will be met by a local tour guide for the start of your South African tour. You will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and lunch. After lunch, transfer to a medical facility for dialysis treatment, followed by return transfer to your hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in hotel in Johannesburg – L/D.

Day 02: SUN CITY

This morning you will drive towards your next destination – Sun City and Pilanesberg National Park. After checking-in at your lodge inside the National Park, enjoy some leisure time before lunch, and before your first game drive inside the Park.

The second full day can be spent at Sun City complex, giving the opportunity to partake in the various activities on offer, including game drives; elephant back safaris; golf; casino; balloon safaris; cinema; health spa; parasailing; swimming; water sports; horse-riding; and many more activities to choose from. In the evening you can enjoy the Show in the Extravaganza Theatre followed by dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 03: SUN CITY

Today is also for you to enjoy the full day at leisure at the Sun City Complex, allowing clients the opportunity to partake in the various activities on offer at the Sun City complex, including game drives; elephant back safaris; golf; casino; balloon safaris; cinema; health spa; parasailing; swimming; water sports; horse-riding; and many more activities to choose from. In the evening enjoy the Odyssey Show in the Super Bowl followed by dinner and Overnight at the Sun City Cabanas – B/L/D.

Day 04: PRETORIA

After a leisure breakfast, you have time for a morning Game drive in the Park before heading back to Pretoria, where your dialysis treatment has been booked for the afternoon.

Day 05: MPUMALANGA - DULLSTROOM

After breakfast, we depart Pretoria, we drive along the N12 or the N4 towards East. At Belfast turn for Dullstroom and start the Panorama Route. Your route leads you via Lydenberg along the R37. We arrive at your Guest House in the late afternoon, where you will spend the following two nights.

Böhm's Zeederberg is a small owner-run Country House situated in the picturesque Sabie River Valley of the Mpumalanga Drakensberg, South Africa.

Day 06: MPUMALANGA - DULLSTROOM

Today you have a full day to visit Mpumalanga area. Your route - Panorama Route - leads you via the Long Tom Pass, which opens up to breathtaking views of the Transvaal Drakensberg Escarpment. You will stop en-route at Pilgrim’s Rest, where you will have the opportunity to explore living history in this old mining village where gold was first discovered. Enjoy your lunch before continuing to the Blyde River Canyon. En route enjoy a stop at God's Window, Mac Mac Falls and Bourke’s Luck Potholes - cylindrical holes formed by the swirling waters at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers. Day 07: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

After a leisurely breakfast, we depart for the well-known Kruger National Park, stopping en-route in Nelspruit for dialysis treatment. Afterwards we continue on our journey towards the Kruger National Park. The park was established in 1898 and stretches for 350kms from south to north along the Mozambiquan border to where South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe meet.
Well known for its diversity of habitat and wildlife, Kruger offers visitors an excellent opportunity to experience close encounters with elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard in a natural unfenced environment. Wild dog, cheetah, zebra, giraffe and a variety of other species are also indigenous to this park. Late lunch will be served at your hotel. If time permits, we may enter the park for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight in chalets inside the park – B/L/D.

Days 08 & 09: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

The following 2 days will be spent enjoying the game-viewing in the Kruger National Park – with early morning and late afternoon departures from your hotel. Return to your hotel during the heat of the day for some leisure time. Optional night game drives can be arranged from here to view the nocturnal nightlife present in the reserve.

Day 10: HAZEYVIEW

After breakfast, we depart the Kruger National Park and once again make our way towards the medical clinic situated in Nelspruit for our morning dialysis session, followed by lunch. We will spend the night at a guest house in the Hazeyview area – B/L/D.

Day 11: JOHANNESBURG

This morning, after a leisurely breakfast, departing Nelspruit, we head back towards Johannesburg. After checking-in at our hotel, lunch will be served, followed by an afternoon at leisure, providing the opportunity to do any last minute shopping.

We will spend our final night at a hotel in Johannesburg – B/L/D.

Day 12:

After breakfast at our hotel, we transfer to the clinic for our final dialysis treatment before being transferred to Johannesburg International Airport in time to connect with our outbound flight.
