we will depart Maun heading southwards to enter the Central
Kalahari Game Reserve. The following three nights’
stay in the park will solve some of the mysteries surrounding
life in this arid region. The Kalahari and its adapted game
and vegetation have succeeded in surviving the elements
and their story is plain for those who wish to understand.
Predators
such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena occur here as well
as water independent antelope, such as Oryx and Springbok.
The combination of Kalahari and Okavango on one safari will
clearly illustrate the importance of water to an area. The

fire and have a chance to join them on a food gathering
experience.
See
their amazing skills of "reading" the signs of
the veld and understand more about the reason for their
survival for so many centuries in a seemingly hostile environment.
See how even the youngest ones knows how to distinguish
between the myriad of tracks in the sand, telling about
every animal's exact behaviour! This second evening we will
be entertained by the Bushman’s traditional song and
